Make 3rd Thursdays your art night out! Explore an artist reception featuring a local artist with work for sale, complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Wild Asparagus and a cash bar. These events have been very well attended and Barrington residents have been really enjoying themselves.
You’ll hear from the Barrington Music Institute, some of Barrington’s most talented young musicians in an instrumental program featuring the Institute’s advanced string ensembles, soloists and repertoire groups. Performance by elementary through high school students, and BMI instructors.
And you’ll see Barrington Hills artist Carol Foster who specializes in original oil paintings of nature and pets. You may have seen her work displayed in local businesses, libraries and Art in Nature, where she won Best in Show in 2016.

It all takes place at Barrington’s White House on Thursday, November 16, from 7:30 – 9:30. There is no cost for the art exhibit and the cost for the musical performance performance is $10 and registration may be found here.
