Physicians from Northwestern University and University of Illinois at Chicago are leading the world in cutting-edge research to find a cure for ALS. Hear from panelists Dr. Hande Ozdinler, the pioneer of upper motor neurons research; Dr. Richard Silverman, inventor of pharmaceutical products such as Lyrica; and Dr. Gerardo Morfinia, who is collaborating with Dr. Ozdinler to harness how neurons receive, process and transmit information. One of Barrington’s own, Pat McKillen returns after last year’s sold-out performances. 3rd Thursday – Art Night Out with Gale and Thomas Trausch – Thursday, February 21, 6:00pm
This husband and wife team from Woodstock share their special visions of the natural world around us. Compare and contrast interpretations of color and light in the paintings of this team of fine artists. Works include oils, watercolors and drawings. With over 1400 original paintings in collections, Thomas believes that “light can impart a spiritual quality that resonates with the viewer.” This is a free community event. TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE
