About Us

Barrington’s White House is an elegant, historic mansion that is perfectly suited to our current times, where smaller, more intimate weddings are becoming more common. Located in the heart of downtown Barrington, this 1898 home belonged to local philanthropists John and Julia Robertson at the turn of the century. It was meticulously restored in 2015 to capture the timeless beauty of the home while providing every modern amenity. We can accommodate both intimate weddings of 50 or less and larger weddings up to 130 (150 for ceremony only).

Getting married in the time of COVID was an adventure! From the moment we toured The White House, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Our 100 person wedding was perfect for the elegant ballroom and having the downstairs and front porch of the mansion accessible to our guests gave us the room to breathe and the intimacy we craved for our event.
