Vendor Spotlight with BWH: Michael Latala Live Event Wedding Painting as a Forever Wedding Gift

Kate HimesCelebration, Private Events, Vendor Partner, Weddings

Barrington’s White House has the privilege of working with gifted, trustworthy vendor partners to help give each of our couples their dream wedding day. Our new blog series, Vendor Spotlight with BWH, will feature a few preferred vendors each month to highlight what services they provide and how they can make your wedding all you want, even during COVID-19 restrictions.

For any event, especially your wedding, it’s hard to remember all the wonderful moments. We ‘sat down’ (on Zoom) with one of our preferred vendors, Michael Latala Live Event Wedding Painting, to ask all the questions you’ve been wondering – please enjoy.

What is Michael Latala Live Event Wedding Painting and what services do you provide couples?

ML: My business, Michael Latala Live Event Wedding Painting, strives to capture the beauty of your wedding day in a unique way by creating an producing an oil painting create live at your wedding that you’ll treasure for a lifetime!

Painting live at the wedding gives me the opportunity to soak in the atmosphere of the event which ultimately winds up in the painting. My interaction with your guests also seems to add something special to my work.
The whole process starts with a meeting with the bride and groom to discuss what they would like featured in the painting, be it the wedding ceremony or the first dance, etc. This meeting can be done in person at my studio or virtually.
How has your business model had to change during COVID-19?

ML: Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many couples who had booked me for 2020 postponed their weddings until things open up, but for those who chose to get married in 2020, I produced a wedding painting from a photo. I’m looking forward to next year when hopefully, I can paint live at my client’s weddings!

What new products or services are you offering to your clients and the community during this time?

ML: The option to have me produce a painting of your wedding from a photo of your choosing has worked well for couples who have had to revise their wedding plans due to COVID-19.

What would you like readers to know about your offerings?

ML: That I’m truly honored to be a part of your wedding and that you’ll have a unique remembrance of the day that will last a lifetime.

What do you want to say to couples that have had to replan their wedding? What are you offering to help with potential smaller weddings that will happen in the last half of the year?

ML: No matter the size or location of your wedding, I can produce a beautiful piece of art that will fit within your budget.

How can readers best get in touch with you?
