Discover the works of regional artists Sharron Boxenbaum and Christiane Bouret
through their exhibition, Color and Texture in Everyday Life.
Sharron Boxenbaum brings to the exhibition her vibrant acrylics and oils, reflecting themes of solitude and introspection. Her work captures the emotional depth of everyday moments, inviting viewers to explore the nuances of human experience. Boxenbaum’s participation in plein air events and her dedication to capturing the essence of her subjects have earned her recognition in the regional art community.
Christiane Bouret is a Portrait and Figurative artist who works primarily in oil. She is drawn to a person’s expression, trying to capture their personality…a moment in life. She is also a versatile artist who paints what speaks to her, whether a person, animal, or still life. She has since discovered Plein Air painting and has enjoyed painting the beautiful landscapes in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Europe.
Join us on the third Thursday of each month for an evening of art, conversation, and community at Barrington’s White House. These salon-style exhibitions feature local and regional artists in our elegant first-floor gathering spaces. Enjoy engaging with the artwork and the artists themselves, with a cash bar available throughout the evening. Admission is free.
