President of Harper College Speaks at Barrington’s White House

Barrington's White HouseCommunity Events, Uncategorized

Dr. Kenneth Ender, President of Harper College, introduces a new educational concept—called the “Communiversity.” Although a post-secondary credential is now necessary to ensure employment for a middle class lifestyle, millions of young adults are neither employed nor in school. In his lecture, “College Affordability and Completion: Ensuring Pathways to Opportunity,” Ender explores how to expand career paths and employment opportunities by creating a network of secondary schools, the community college, and a local state college or university. This “Communiversity” can deliver a flexible, high-value education at a reasonable cost, meeting the needs of both students and employers. There is no charge for general admission, but reservations are required.
