Catherine Chifflot Nealy and Mark Himes Grace the First 3rd Thursday of the Spring Season – February 15

Barrington's White HouseCommunity Events

The first 3rd Thursday of the Spring Season, February 15th, 6:00 – 8:00pm, welcomes artist Catherine Chifflot Nealy with “An Invitation to Self-Expression Through Color” along with the wistful music of Mark Himes on his acoustic guitar.

Catherine Chifflot Nealy, a French-born artist, ignites her intricate and colorful work to payartist at Barrington's White House homage to her industrial designer father’s detailed precision and her Italian mother’s harmony and spontaneity. Inspired by a lifelong love of nature design and her passion for yoga, Nealy began drawing as a simple expressive act. Each piece of art begins as blank white space—she frees her mind and, with a black marker, lets her hand move, giving shape and form to her awareness. Every design reveals a new story.

Mark Himes is a long-time Barrington resident and performs at local venues during significant events.  Accompanied by his acoustical guitar, Himes plays classic songs from the 60’s and 70’s.  Himes is a well-known musical favorite.
