Soloist Jan Baker of the Hurricane String Quartet

Featuring soloist Jan Baker, D. Mus., Lyric Opera with special honored guest attendee Fredrick L. Hemke, American virtuoso classical saxophonist and Eckstein Professor Emeritus of Music at Northwestern University. As one of the country’s premiere professional saxophone ensembles, the Hurricane Quartet crosses stylistic boundaries, playing classical, jazz and contemporary.

These four women combine their considerable talents. The group’s performance credits include classical recitals, community and cultural festivals, radio, TV and even its hometown Chicago Bulls games!

General Admission is $30, Student Admission is $20, and 8th grade students and under are free. Be blown away by these talented female musicians!
