Barrington’s White House Partners with Wild Asparagus Catering

Join Barrington’s White House on Thursday, August 6 at 1:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. for our inaugural “Cook Along with Me” virtual event. The 30-minute program is the first of the series and features Julia Noack, Head Chef for Wild Asparagus.

Join Julia in the White House’s gourmet caterers kitchen and learn how to make a Vegetable Phyllo Purse (always previously known as a “Beggar’s Purse”). The dish was created by innovative chef Barry Wine of New York’s Quilted Giraffe in the 1980s. The recipe offers a tasty and versatile meal that can easily be converted to a vegan version.
