4th of July Presentation: 11 am, 4 pm, and 7 pm
July 4, 2020
Join us on July 4th at 11 am, 4 pm, and 7 pm for our hour-and-a-half Independence Day presentation!
Here at Barrington’s White House, we had hoped to see all of you smiling on our Front Porch again this 4th of July. If you were cheering on the parade floats or heading inside for some cool air and Americana music, you were helping us celebrate both our country’s 244th anniversary and the 5th anniversary of our official opening as a Community and Cultural Center.
This year, we cannot be together in person but together in spirit. We will be presenting an Independence Day themed program which will feature the Geneva Barbershop Quartet, historical presentations, and classic Americana music. This program will be presented on YouTube – the easiest way to watch is on our Live Event Stream page, located as a dropdown under Cultural Events in our navigation.
Ever since BWH opened as a Cultural and Community Center back in 2015, we have hosted 165 wonderful Cultural Events with over 16,000 people in attendance, truly cementing ourselves as the cultural hub of the Barrington area. We are particularly proud of our 530 all-time donors and our 56 volunteers, docents, and board members who have contributed more than 6,400 hours of their time. To celebrate the 4th of July, we have compiled some of our favorite patriotic music along with some photographs of the past five years. We hope to rub shoulders with all of you next year.
