Join members of the award-winning Elgin Symphony Orchestra and guest pianist Daniel Baer for an afternoon of romantic chamber music by Brahms and Schumann. The Elgin Symphony Orchestra chamber musicians are renowned for their gorgeous tone and blend, bringing joyful sounds to our intimate ballroom setting at Barrington’s White House. Pianist Daniel Baer has been a member of the Music Institute of Chicago’s piano faculty since September 2017. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees from the Eastman School of Music and his Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School. He has performed across the United States and Europe, including in solo and collaborative recitals at the International Bergen Arts Festival, the Grieg Society of Oslo, Avery Fischer Hall, Kilbourn Hall, Nichols Hall, and Steinway Hall.
