He began his full-time art career 20 years ago after retiring as CEO of Luby Publishing, a 103-year-old publisher of sports magazines headquartered in downtown Chicago. “Chicago Brushstrokes,” a book with 100 of his paintings of the Windy City, has been sold at the Art Institute, the Architecture Foundation, the Chicago Historical Society, the bookstore at Willis Tower, and many other locations.
