Blood, Sweat and Fears: An Evening of Scary Storytelling

October 27, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Spend a Halloween-inspired evening hearing spooky tales from professional and amateur storytellers coached by Megan Wells.

Back by popular demand! Scary storytelling returns to Barrington’s White House during the Halloween season as celebrated professional storyteller Megan Wells headlines our show, based on the theme “Blood, Sweat, and Fears.” Megan will be joined by professional storyteller Beth Horner and will also coach selected local storytellers; all will share their various personal scary tales. The evening will feature professional storytellers as well as your friends and neighbors, all telling of old and new fears.  A fun evening for all!

This event will feature stories from Jeff Degner, Bev Ottaviano, Tracy Fowler, Stephanie Walker, Megan Wells, Louis Greenwald, Karla Serrato, and Beth Horner.

To apply as a storyteller, please fill out THIS FORM no later than September 30th. Submitters will be notified by October 7th about their inclusion in the event.

NOTE: This event is available both in-person and virtually. If you are having trouble purchasing tickets please contact us at culturalevents@barringtonswhitehouse.com or 224-512-4066.
