Cuentos from the Americas: Storytelling and Face Painting for Families

Enjoy family fun with face painting and award-winning storyteller Jasmin Cardenas, sharing bilingual tales from the Americas. 

Enjoy a vibrant morning of family fun at Barrington’s White House with face painting and a captivating storytelling experience. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. with face painting for the kids, then head upstairs at 11:00 a.m. for “Cuentos from the Americas,” an engaging bilingual storytelling performance by award-winning Colombian American storyteller Jasmin Cardenas. 

Jasmin brings ancient legends, myths, folktales, and personal stories from North, Central, and South America to life with music, movement, and elements of dance and visual imagery. Known for her powerful performances, Jasmin has appeared on stages like Steppenwolf and Goodman Theatre and has collaborated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. 

This event is perfect for families – get a family pass and bring as many kids as you’d like!
