Love Broadway show tunes? Join us for a tour-de-force performance by veteran Barrington’s White House vocalists Bill Powers and Michelle Areyzaga. This animated duo join together to fill our intimate ballroom with the songs from MGM and other movie studios’ Broadway films from the 1950s and ‘60s, including selections from Richard Rodgers, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and more. You’ll enjoy all the toe-tapping tunes you remember from movies including Oklahoma!, The Music Man, Camelot, Annie Get Your Gun, Candide, The Wizard of Oz, Carousel, Porgy and Bess, and more.
Praised by the Chicago Tribune for her “radiant and all-encompassing soprano,” Michelle Areyzaga has been described as the “consummate vocal actress.” Renowned baritone sensation Bill Powers is known for his portrayal of opera’s favorite rogues and villains, bringing drama and vocal power to every performance. This performance is a can’t miss for Broadway fans!
