Dancing with Pizazz

The musical genius of George Gershwin and Cole Porter comes alive through the musical synthesis of the Jazz Pizazz trio (soprano Kimberly Albrecht, pianist Marianne Kim and bassist Nick Schneider) combined with the artistry of Dancewerks and Midwest Dance Collective, choreographed and emceed by Ellen Werksman Smith.
At Ms. Senior America 2018, Top 10 finalist Kimberly Albrecht’s vocal performance was described by Time magazine as “epic.” A lyric coloratura soprano, Kimberly first sang jazz with the University of Michigan Jazz Ensemble, and has performed a variety of musical styles throughout the Chicagoland area for over 35 years.
