Christina Currie Events will host their 6th annual “Grace Meets Glamour” bridal show on Saturday, April 15, from 1-3pm at Barrington’s White House, 145 W. Main St., Barrington. Grace Meets Glamour is a boutique bridal affair where brides-to-be and guests are introduced to wedding vendors who can help orchestrate details for their wedding, rehearsal and/or bridal showers. This two-hour event is an extraordinary source of inspiration and ideas, the bridal event of the season!

Guests at the event will be able to engage in one-on-one conversations with top-notch vendors, a unique privilege only offered at Grace Meets Glamour. Brides will receive personalized guidance, expert tips and creative concepts. Some of the specialized vendors will include; a bridal fashion designer, musicians, wedding cake designers, stationery artists, beauty consultants, chefs, photographers, videographers, and wedding officiants. For added fun, guests can enjoy interactive activities such as; a photo booth, ice sculpting demonstrations and a chance to customize their own makeup.

In addition to mingling with vendors, guests have the opportunity to sample delicious hors d’oeuvres, trendy signature drinks and decadent wedding cakes while being serenaded to live jazz music. En vogue models will be on display to inspire ideas for hair and makeup as well as wedding attire.

Personalized tours of the glamorous Barrington’s White House will also be given during the event. Barrington’s White House is a historical and cornerstone mansion on Main Street in the heart of downtown Barrington.

Gorgeous designer vignettes, styled just for the Barrington’s White House will be showcased throughout each floor of the elegant venue. They are designed to help create your vision for your special day. You can expect many ideas from beautiful Victorian inspired table setting to modern contemporary tablescapes. Guests will also be able to walk through a garden inspired wedding ceremony with soft drapes, warm lighting and beautiful flowers. Striking florals, rich lush linens, and the newest chic lounge furniture will transform Barrington’s White House into your dream wedding or event!

By the end of the show, Christina hopes to answer some of your large decision-making questions such as; choosing your theme, creating the right mood, floral types, entertainment, photography, etc. As a thank you for spending the afternoon at the bridal show, each bride will receive a special swag bag filled with unique gifts from our creative partners.

Donations of $10 per guest are requested to benefit Wish Upon a Wedding, a non-profit oganization created to help couples coping with terminal illness, and will be accepted at the door.
