Barrington’s White House Dining Room will be set for a historic tea. Visit the house and see how the table would have been set in the early 1900’s. A complete Havilland Tea Set that was available in the early 1900’s, and an International Silver St. James 1881 Tea Service will be featured. The table was set by The Quester Barrington Chapter #544.
The Havilland Tea Set was originally owned by Mary McCabe Sehnert, and was donated by her daughter Mary Smith. This set, like many Havilland sets has no name. It is know as Schleiger 341-9, and was thought to be available in the 1910’s and 1920’s.
The silver tea service was donated by Janice Grant. It is International Silver, St. James 1881 pattern.
