Keegan, conservator at The Art Institute of Chicago, unveils these secrets in a lecture at Barrington’s White House. Called “Lenses, X-Ray and Paint, Oh My!” she explains how high-tech imaging and scientific analysis has uncovered stories concealed in paintings by some of our most beloved impressionist masters, including Renoir, Caillebotte and Pissaro. This curator presentation is sponsored by the Art Institute of Chicago NW Chapter. It is open to the public at no charge, but reservations are required.
