Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner, Classical Piano

March 14, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Barrington’s White House perennial favorite Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner returns for a breathtaking virtual performance this spring. The young piano virtuoso will feature Ravel’s Bolero, arranged for 4 pianos, Chopin’s Barcarolle, Op. 60, Beethoven’s mesmerizing Piano Sonata in A Major, Op. 101, Bernstein’s “Mambo!” from West Side Story, as well as Irving Berlin’s popular “Blue Skies.”

A Gilmore Young Artist award winner, Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner has performed in Washington, D.C. at the White House and the Kennedy Center, as well as in a multitude of international venues. The “poetic and electrifying” sounds of this young virtuoso have been described as “balancing earthly aggression against elegant refinement” and will leave you hungering for more. Live Q&A follows the presentation.
