Doug McConnell discusses the Chicago River Swim and his organization, A Long Swim.
Join us for the next installment of Barrington’s White House “Lunch & Learn” series featuring Doug McConnell, co-founder of the Barrington-born nonprofit A Long Swim. A Long Swim hosts open water swims for collaborative ALS research at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Doug will discuss the most recent event hosted by A Long Swim: The Chicago River Swim on Sunday, September 22. Learn about the challenges and triumphs of this unique event, as well as the mission and impact of A Long Swim.
