Lunch & Learn: Behind Barrington’s Great American Baker Nirali Chauhan

January 25 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Discover the story of how Barrington-native Nirali Chauhan used baking as a form of recovery from a traumatic brain injury, landing her on the “Great American Baking Show”

Barrington’s White House is excited to continue its “Lunch & Learn” cultural event series which began in Spring 2023. Community members are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy discussions, demonstrations, and more on a variety of topics. Tickets are $15 per person and include non-alcoholic beverages.

Barrington-native and Barrington High School graduate Nirali Chauhan embraced baking as a form of recovery and solace after a traumatic brain injury in 2015. Her passion led her to participate in community service and eventually to a spot on “The Great American Baking Show.” Now a medical student, Nirali’s journey is a testament to resilience and the therapeutic power of baking

NOTE: This event is entirely in-person. No virtual tickets are available. If you are having trouble registering, please contact us at culturalevents@barringtonswhitehouse.com or 224-512-4066.
