Lunch & Learn: Music, Dementia, and the Power of Storytelling with Invoke

Explore the connection between music and dementia at an interactive Lunch & Learn with Invoke, a renowned genre-defying string quartet.
Celebrate the transformative power of music with Invoke, a celebrated genre-defying string quartet, at a special Lunch & Learn tailored for dementia patients and caregivers. This interactive session explores how storytelling through music fosters connection and inspires creativity.
Invoke’s “Songs Are Stories” program invites the audience to create collective stories, which the quartet transforms into original compositions. For example, at a Lincoln Center event, a story about two lovers in a Croatian park inspired a lush, nature-infused melody, reflecting the scene. Audiences connect deeply as their stories come to life through music.

This event is part of Barrington’s White House’s continuing Lunch & Learn series. Community members are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy discussions, demonstrations, and more on a variety of topics. Tickets are $15 per person and include non-alcoholic beverages.
