Join us for a special performance from Irish tenor and storyteller Paddy Homan, star of the hit PBS one-man show “I Am Ireland.” Recorded in Old St. Pat’s Church during the height of the global pandemic, the “pandemic” version of this show has captured the hearts of so many over these past few months who looked to music for hope.
The show’s national debut took place in March and was featured across 276 PBS stations that month alone! Conceived and created by Homan in Chicago, it features the City Lights Orchestra of Chicago under the direction of Rich Daniels. The creators say, “We are planning on telling unique musical story around country; we Irish always have a song in our hearts.” Homan will be joined by James Moore on guitar and Brendan Bulger on fiddle and will share some of the background stories behind the creation of this show, while delighting attendees with his lyric tenor voice! Not to be missed.
