Venue Change: Patriotic Brass and Percussion Featuring the Elgin Symphony Orchestra

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a high-energy community tradition led by the Illinois Council of Orchestras’ 2025 professional conductor of the year, Chad Goodman. This free patriotic celebration features the powerful brass and percussion sections of the award-winning Elgin Symphony Orchestra. Experience a thunderous performance through a program of popular favorites and historic anthems that will bring you to your feet. Sponsored by The Pepper Family Music Series.
Due to extreme heat, the Patriotic Brass and Percussion in the Park concert featuring the Elgin Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, July 1, has been moved indoors to the community room at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave. The performance starts at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. For the most up-to-date information, please follow our social media channels.
