Celebrate “Paint the Town Barrington!” with a local landscape art exhibition, sale and awards ceremony judged by artist Don Yang.
“Paint the Town Barrington!” returns, offering a fresh look at the local landscapes and architecture we see every day. For one afternoon, Barrington’s White House transforms into a lively, salon-style gallery for the event’s highly anticipated awards ceremony, public exhibition and art sale. Serving as this year’s juror is Don Yang, the esteemed chair of the fine arts program at the American Academy of Art College in Chicago. Yang will evaluate the newly created pieces and present awards to the region’s top outdoor painters. Whether you want to chat with the artists about their process or find the perfect new piece for your home, this is the ultimate way to experience the neighborhood’s creative energy.
