Plein Air Awards, Reception, and Art Sale

Local artists will paint “Plein Air” in Barrington from September 27 to October 5, 2024. Meet the artists for awards, a reception, and a public art sale.
Just as the artists of Paris have done for hundreds of years, local artists will paint “Plein Air” (outdoors in the open air) in Barrington from September 27 – October 5, 2024. Come into town to watch over 30 artists from across Chicagoland as they paint local landmarks during the week.
Then, meet the artists in person on Saturday, October 5 for awards and reception.
Public art sale is October 5. Sponsored by the Barrington Cultural Commission.
