Renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine, celebrated for her extraordinary ability to connect with audiences and her dazzling technique, returns to Barrington’s White House. This special performance features her talented daughter, Sylvia Pine, and esteemed pianist Matthew Hagle.
The program includes Schubert’s Sonatina No. 3 in G Minor, Jessie Montgomery’s “Musings for Two Violins,” W.L. Dawson’s Sonata in A Major, Brahms’ Sonata No. 5 in E-flat major, and Sarasate’s lively “Navarra for Two Violins.” Together, the Pine duo and Hagle will captivate with their passionate interpretations and exceptional artistry, making for an unforgettable evening of classical and contemporary music.
Champagne reception begins at 2:30 p.m. Full appetizer reception with an open bar follows the concert, providing an opportunity for our audience to meet the new Director of Cultural Affairs, Dr. Brian Coyle.
