Join us for the second Community Holiday Tea at Barrington’s White House. Create a new holiday tradition with a city-inspired, sophisticated, adults-only afternoon tea for you and your girlfriends, moms, and sisters. Celebrate the holidays at our historic mansion with traditional offerings including hot tea, scones, and finger sandwiches, as well as champagne, wine and more. This event is for women 21 and older.
As a special treat, guests will be greeted by the Barrington Children’s Choir A cappella Ensemble. The Barrington Children’s Choir (BCC) provides choral education with the finest music repertoire to children in grades two through twelve. Established in 1986, BCC is considered a community treasure, enriching the arts and giving back to local audiences through the gift of song. Choristers represent various northwest suburbs of Chicago and perform each year at numerous civic and corporate gatherings, in addition to signature concerts in December and May. The A cappella ensemble is an auditioned group of choristers (typically grades 9-12) who perform advanced contemporary and traditional a cappella choral music. Joyce Haqq serves BCC as Artistic Director and A cappella Director. baringtonchildrenschoir.org
