Experience a powerful rehearsed reading of “The Art of Disappearing” by Stephanie Alison Walker, directed by Lorena Diaz, Artistic Director of Teatro Vista. The play follows Melissa, who returns home after a two-year estrangement to uncover devastating family secrets. As her mother practices the art of disappearing, Melissa must decide whether to fight for her family or disappear herself. This thought-provoking play was a Primus Prize 2016 Finalist and is published by Broadway Play Publishing, Inc.
