Artist Jerell Meyer presents “Faces of Eve’ (and a few Adams): The Commonality of Mankind.” Through her portraiture, Meyer asks, “Do you have the mind and heart of an explorer, a ballerina, a gypsy? Or the soul of a music composer, Bathsheba, Lotherio, a Venus?” We all have the same human emotions in common no matter what role we play in life, and attendees may just see themselves among Meyer’s portrait faces. Fred Moss’ rich landscape oils depict cityscapes and natural locations inspired by his travels to Italy, the native country of his grandparents, where he studied at the Florence Academy of Art. He has also served as an artist in residence at Crater Lake National Park, and his travels to America’s sweeping national parks have inspired many plein air paintings in the exhibit.
