Understanding the Holocaust Through Film

October 27, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

A multitude of films since the end of World War II have exposed the harsh realities of genocide and emphasized the strength of the human spirit in the face of the most horrific of circumstances. Esteemed film critic Dann Gire from the Daily Herald and film history teacher Raymond Benson from the College of DuPage will review their most highly recommended films about the Holocaust, including Shoah, Sophie’s Choice, Schindler’s List, and Life is Beautiful.
