Barrington’s own world-renowned clarinetist, Nancy Braithwaite, returns to Barrington’s White House on Wednesday, March 1st at 7:30 pm to perform a Chamber Music Concert. She will be joined by equally famous Walter Preucil, Principal Cellist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago and long-time member of the Door County Midsummer Music Festival. Also joining them are local soloist Joanne McDade and pianists Kenneth Smith and Walter Koehler as they present works of Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert and others. The evening of chamber music spans both traditional and modern composers with pieces both moving and fanciful, allowing each instrument to shine.  (Tickets available here.)
