Second Annual Bridal Open House Was a Day to Remember

We’ve been very busy here at Barrington’s White House! Last month was our second annual Bridal Open House that included this year’s addition of the Trolley Tour around Barrington. Dozens of brides-to-be and their guests from around the Chicago area explored all three floors of the House, which was dressed to the nines for the occasion.

Greeted with a glass of Champagne at the door, guests were invited into the Drawing Room to view our raffle – two Waterford champagne flutes donated by Barrington’s own Long and Co. Jewelers. On their way through the Fireplace and Dining Rooms, grooms saw a sneak peek at how the Study was transformed into the most perfect Groom’s Room, while snacking on hand-selected caterer’s samples perfect for any wedding.

As brides made their way upstairs to the Grand Ballroom, a stop at the second-floor Bridal Suite was a must. Here, brides envisioned themselves being pampered at the multi-stationed make-up and hair counter as they prepare to walk down the aisle.

As guests ascended the stairs and past our Grand Piano, our Grand Ballroom came into view in all its splendor. It was filled with vendors including florists, photographers and videographers, caterers and more. Brides-to-be and their guests learned more about each vendor and saw some of the most current wedding trends come to life.
