Announcing Spring Season Events at Barrington’s White House

Barrington's White HouseCommunity Events

Barrington’s White House is host to over 15 community and cultural events this Spring Season, and tickets are now available online.  Barrington’s first Town Warming, which is a recreation of past historic Town Warmings, is taking place in February, featuring local leaders, including Barrington Hills resident Hank Paulson and Wendy Paulson.  Hank Paulson is the former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs, and Wendy Paulson is the chair emerita of Rare, an international conservation organization.

The season travels into Spring with a number of unique gatherings.  One of the first will be a concert by Pat McKillen, always a sold out favorite, and another will be an historic presentation on Barrington by the Honorable John Curry.  In addition, the physicians and scientists from the University of Chicago will gather to discuss the new science of wellness.  Classical music performances abound in the Ballroom, which will also be the home to musical performances by Barrington High School students.  Finally, Barrington’s White House will continue its very popular “3rd Thursday” celebrations that open the White House to local and gifted artists and musicians on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

We’re also looking forward to revealing at least one more upcoming event that will surprise and delight Barrington residents.

VIP tickets are available for some events, which provide an opportunity to attend post-event receptions with performers and guest speakers. Student-priced tickets are also available to encourage our youngest citizens to take advantage of the community and cultural events provided this Spring Season at Barrington’s White House.

As we welcome spring we also welcome weddings and private events; you’ll see all the activity taking place when you drive through the Village. These events are the mainstay of Barrington’s White House, so please consider this unique venue for your family celebrations, non-profit fundraisers, corporate meetings and weddings.
