Barrington loves movies! The Catlow featured two week-ends of Short Films and Animated Shorts. Tickets for this new event in Barrington sold out in five days.
Barrington again celebrated the movies by hosting a live viewing of the Academy Awards® at Barrington’s White House. Guests watched the program live on screens throughout the house—both downstairs and in the Golden Ballroom.
The Oscar Party Committee helped create a festive evening with a red carpet entryway and posters of famous movies. They did a wonderful job and lots of excitement was created with awards and prizes.
For many guests, it was their first chance to view the house and see it’s gorgeous ballroom and elegant first floor. It was a truly memorable evening.
