Impressionist Art, Animal Art, Floral Art, painting, Piet Mondrain

3rd Thursdays Virtual Art Night Out Series

The Barrington Area Artists Association presents three outstanding artists you should know during this wonderful presentation.

Maarten Tonneyck was born in Amsterdam, where the arts blossomed and influenced him in composing music, performing theatre, and studying at the State Academy of Fine Art, which was pioneered by Piet Mondrian and was part of the international Impressionist movement.

Ann Parker has been painting for some 20 years under the guidance of artist Frankie Johnson, owner of the Main Street Art Center in Lake Zurich. Ann’s primary subject matter is depicting flowers in an Impressionistic style.

Sharron Boxenbaum has been painting in oils and acrylics for a number of years and prefers to paint from live subjects. Her animal portraits were painted from life in Cabela’s, where Sharron had special permission to set up an easel and paint the animals they have in special displays.
