Our 3rd Thursday Art Night Out receptions feature local visual artists and are free and open to the public. If you’d like to be considered, please complete our Artist Application and include samples of your work.

Featuring soloist Jan Baker, D. Mus., Lyric Opera with special honored guest attendee Fredrick L. Hemke, American virtuoso classical saxophonist and Eckstein Professor Emeritus of Music at Northwestern University. As one of the country’s premiere professional saxophone ensembles, the Hurricane Quartet crosses stylistic boundaries, playing classical, jazz and contemporary.
These four women combine their considerable talents. The group’s performance credits include classical recitals, community and cultural festivals, radio, TV and even its hometown Chicago Bulls games!

After the concert join us in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a reception featuring your favorite Irish classics, Guinness and Bailey’s Irish Cream. Mix and mingle with the talented saxophonists and the honored guest Frederick Hemke.
